We are invested in changing the narrative of what it means to be an established artist of color. Reaching out and digging deep to find stories that have not yet been told, in new ways - with hopes of presenting different perspectives to larger audiences. We do this by uplifting the stories of DMV community members, businesses, organizations, and government officials who have all supported the success of the Howard Theatre, the arts community, the black community and its culture.
